I’ve always been someone who forged their own path. Through the years, I’ve found that perseverance, faith, courage, confidence, compassion, vision, and above all else, a sense of humour has been relevant to my success in any endeavour. I love creating and always following my heart.

I was born and raised in Mexico and moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue my career as a hair artist. I won many awards within the industry and travelled, trained and worked for well-recognized, international and local icons in hair and fashion. I became a North American educator for the Davines North American Cutting Team and was Creative Director for Her Blow Dry Bar in Mexico City. My vision for Flowstate Hair Design was inspired by the culture, artistry, and ritual of my home country and my travels abroad.

I love creating precision cuts as well as long and short, sensual and flowing cuts and styles. I am especially passionate about creative colours, free-handed style highlights and personalized hair extensions, which are also my areas of expertise. I love immersing in my craft and flowing and creating together with my clients, as well as performing hair rituals, sound bowls, and pandora starlight healing sessions.

In my 15-year journey within the hair industry, I have honed the art of embracing the magic of self-transformation and self-love through hair. My dedication to building strong relationships and maintaining integrity with my clients has been the cornerstone of my experience.

My expertise lies in colour treatments, including balyage, bleach outs, highlights, and vivids, as well as textured/curly hair and personalized haircuts. In addition, I am delighted to offer the unique combination of reiki (energy healing) integrated into hair services or as a standalone offering.

The joy I find in witnessing my clients feel confident and aligned with their hair is unparalleled. Providing a personalized experience in the warm and inviting atmosphere of Flowstate brings me immense fulfillment.
